I tryed to build gcc in a different directory from the source directory and I
obtained the following error:

I read the gcc documentation a now known how to do.

I don't know how to build in different directory.
Can you say me what I will do?
I did make command in the directory where I untared gcc
(/home/compiler/build/gcc/gcc-4.2.1)

I have tested it on a large program and it is OK.
