Hi.
You shouldn't have any problems with 7zip at all.
just install it, then find the time adventures.7z file and use the context
menu with the applications key. You'll find a menu called "7zip" hit right
arrow on that and go to "extract here" and press enter and bingo!
Really 7zip is one of t
It does not seem to be working as you say when I try to go through windows
explorer it does not seem to be working and then when I try to do it through
the program with all of the extractingoptions including extract here it still
doesn't work right

Dark,
One small suggestion.
My computer downloads everythign to a downloads folder.
I would move the time adventures.7z file to my game folder and then choos
the choice of extracting to a time adventures folder.

Hi Phil
I believe the 7zip archives on audiogames archive are actually folders that
have been compressed into 7z format, not a collection of random files made
into one archive. Thus if you told to extract to a time adventures folder
you'd get the original archive ie, time adventures.7z inside!
Well what I told you should work, you should get a "time adventures" folder
with all the game's files in and then be able to move it where you want.
i however don't know what you mean by "it doesn't work right" you'll need to
be more specific. Eg, what happens when you use "extract here" on the t
I go to the search box I type in 7Z open up the 7Z ipfile manager and find the
file click my applications key 7zip menu and click extract here then it gives
me an error and says something like cannot open file as archive

You don't need the file manager in 7zip, just go and find the file in
windows explorer and then use the application key, likewise your not trying
to open! the archive, your trying to extract it.
If that still doesn't work then maybe you downloaded the time adventures
archive wrong and need to
For some reason when I do it that way the 7Z menu that pops up in the program
does not pop up there I'll try and re-download the file and see what happens I
am using windows 10

To create a folder,
use your context key and hit enter on new.
The default choice is new folder.
Hit enter and you get an edit box to fill in.
I typed Games and hit enter.

This is a pretty simple one.
Press alt f, 7 for 7-zip, and e for extract.
Then hit enter, and wait for it to finish.

Hi I would like to have some extra help off list
Sounds like you have a corrupted archive.
Cannot open file as archive is a generic "this file is broken" error.
