Hi Dark,
If you're being told you have the wrong password, it's likely because
someone has already taken the name Dark. There have been player wipes
between certain versions, and it's possible that someone slipped in and
stole the name out from under you.

I'll create another one for the time being, but hopefully Aprone can fix
this in future.

Yes, I saw a note on the site to the effect that the 2.5 patch would work
with either 2.3 or 2.4.

What version was the last one you had? If it's long long ago (I'm
thinking around 1.8 or so) you may be better off deleting the
folder entirely. It could be that your progress.ini file (which
as far as I know contains your name) is incompatible with the
server.

Hi all. This message will be rather long, hopefully it'll go through.
Ghorthalon from Dragonapps has been working on an accessible online fps
for a while now. Unlike swamp, however it is more PVP oriented. It's
nearly complete and you can hear a demo here:

That sounds very Grue some.

HI,
Unless you have copied over your previous files, you can open an old
progress.ini file. In there is your user name and password. See if that
helps.
Otherwise, it is possible your account did get wiped from 1.8 to 1.9 or so
abouts there.
HTH.

Thanks Paul. Actually the zombie speed bug was a very minor issue so don't
downplay your skills too much. It only affected Tyrants I believe, and they
are already slow to begin with. They aren't any faster now than they used to
be, all I did was put them back to what they have been at all alo
Erm I didn't think a dog could catch me last time (I ran away
from a bunch of them in the warehouses in 2.4). Also, the reapers
and matriarchs seem faster, though this could just be the fact
that I was playing on a char with no sneak and the footsteps are
quite loud.

That's good to know. I'm not dyeing as often so I must be getting at least

Yeah, it looks like you boosted them all. I'm getting sneak

Matriarch punched me three times in a second, it's like a machine

I've double checked the code and nothing involving zombie speed was changed.
The original test I was doing on Tyrants had an extra line of code added that
said specifically to cut the zombie's speed if it was a tyrant. I just deleted
that line so everything should be exactly the same as it was

Ah. It just seems like their pounding me now. I died up in the
hospital in about 3 minutes (though I didn't have nearly the
equipment I usually do). A couple of the stalkers came half way
down a hallway in about five seconds and then a matriarch came
out of a room, chased me down the hall and u
Hi all,
I believe when I played in 2.3, Zombies when coming toward you would growl as
they came. Why has this been removed? I was in the gas station parking lot and
heard them or at least one, so I centered the footsteps as best as I could and
fired. I missed so it ran faster and i couldn't tel
