I'm a new freesurfer user and I have some troubles installing the program.
after moving to
cd /usr/local
I typed *freesurfer-virtual:~>* tar xzvf
freesurfer-Linux---full.tar.gz
replacing - with
freesurfer-Linux-centos4-stable-pub-v4.3.1
I get the following error message

I tried to visualize my functional data using the command: tkregister2 --s
--reg --fslreg --surf orig --tag
and i received this error :
ERROR: trying to convert FSL registration matrix to FreeSurfer, but
FSLOUTPUTTYPE variable is not set.
Can anyone help me with this ,
