FREESURFER_HOME /usr/local/freesurfer source $FREESURFER_HOME/SetUpFreeSurfer.csh which will set some environment variables and make all FS commands available to you. Sourcing FS like this should fix your issue with nu_correct, if not, this could be a bug. best, Andrew

Hi Bronwyn, I tried to replicate your issue using both v5.3 and the current dev environment, but I had no luck. I'm guessing the problem has to do with combining the development binary along with 5.3, so I suggest using the 5.3 version of mris_make_surfaces to fix this. best, A
