Hi Knut the flip angle in the header shouldn't change anything, although you can use mri_copy_params from a volume with the correct parameters. As for your second question, that's tougher. Why were they changed? Are you sure they are correct? Was the data resampled? cheers Bruce On Sat, 7 Ja

Hi Bruce, We want to analyze some scans that were compressed when they were stored.  Compression factor varies from 3:1 to about 7:1 or so.  unfortunately, we don't have access to the "raw" dicom data. Can we do this? thanks for your help, cheers, catherine
