p.s. are the 001.mgz and 002.mgz dark? The orig.mgz? Sometimes nu_correct can create very dark images, and there are some switches you can loo through to correct them. Alternatively if it is the 001.mgz, mri_convert has a scale option you can use. cheers, Bruce On Fri, 25 Apr 2008, Jerry Yeo

Hi Fred, Do you mean the ?h.sphere or the ?h.sphere.reg? We actully found in a couple of recent papers that optimal Brodmann area alignment is obtained when the morph is much less flexible than our typical one. The most recent dev version of mris_register uses the default parameters -dist 5 -p
