Hi Bruce,
I had earlier written to you with a problem visualizing the flattened lateral
section of the cortex, while the flattened medial section was OK. I tried the
flattening process on another subject's cortex. This time I could visualise the
lateral section but not the medial section. Again

Hello,
I would like to know why we are limited to 4 regressors in the design
specification within the QDEC GUI.
If I understand correctly, there is no such limitation in the "old" method
(via command line).
Thanks,

Hello. I am still very new to freesurfer. I have finished running a
complete recon all process on one mri. I used a very good scan, which
produced great results from freesurfer. However, I am having trouble
producing some usable output. I want to create a volume from the finished
pial surface
why do you want to create a volume? You can run mris_fill to fill the
interior of the pial surface, but you will lose orientation info and
resolution. Why not just use the pial surface model itself for dipole
analysis?

Jerry,
It boils down to a GUI issue, that we are working to eliminate in the
next qdec release (that is, eliminate the limitation of four
regressors).
The problem is that qdec currently automatically generates all possible
contrast matrices for the specified up-to 4 regressors. The questions

Hello,
Having previously saved a qdec-based analysis (i.e., "Design Name"), is
it possible to reload/review that analysis within qdec? (Is "Load
Project File" involved somehow?)
thanks,

Mike,
Yes, the Save Project File option will save everything in the "Design
Name" directory (which defaults to "Untitled") to a file called "Design
Name".qdec. You can then load that file later. It will untar its
contents into the /tmp dir and set the subjects dir appropriately.

Hi,
Does anybody have experience running multiple freesurfer inflations on 2
quad core Xeon processors? How much time saved compared to one
processor? I am wondering how much improvement of two processors over
one. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Hi all,
Does mri_glmfit run to correlate volume with a particular measure identify
clusters on a voxel by voxel basis or does it compare the aseg volumes of
the different subcortical structures?
Thanks,
