Maybe it’s easier just to install the development version of FreeSurfer?

FS_HOME/python/packages/ERC_bayesian_segmentation/scripts/segment_fast.py isn’t
in the 7.4.1 release from June of 2023 (now 2 years old). You would need
to switch to an install of one of the more recent packages from one of the
development builds
