Not quite... What is the ouput when you type "ls -l libreadline*" in the
/lib64 directory?

Hello Erin,
libreadline.so is not distributed as part of freesurfer, it should be
located somewhere on your system. For example, on CentOS 64bit platforms
it can be found in the "/lib64" directory. And on 32bit platforms it can
be found in the "/usr/lib" directory. Do you see anything that look
