Hi Juergen, yes use --nofixmni if you wan MNI coordinates. Note that
there is no such thing as "MNI Talairach" coordinates. It is either MNI
or Talairach, but not both!

problem with the --fixmni option. By default, FixMNI is 1 but it reports
Talairach coordinates as confirmed by tksurfer. When using the option
--nofixmni (FixMNI is zero) it reports MNI Talairach coordinates.
