Those are the values I mentioned before (lhCortex, etc, see below). I
don't understand your concern about the deep structures.

In the aseg.stats file, there will be these values
# Measure lhCortex, lhCortexVol, Left hemisphere cortical gray matter

We have a some doubts about how to measure the total cortical volume. Is it
recommendable to use GM = pial surface - white matter?
