I thought it was disabled in 5.3, thanks for the heads up. On 03/30/2016 06:32 PM, Cassandra Wannan wrote: > Hi Doug, > > I'm using version 5.3. I had read about the bug but the release notes > for 5.3 didn't mention not using DOSS in Qdec, so I thought the issue > must have been resolved. If no

Hi Doug, I'm using version 5.3. I had read about the bug but the release notes for 5.3 didn't mention not using DOSS in Qdec, so I thought the issue must have been resolved. If not, I'll let my colleagues know as I believe some of them are still using DOSS in Qdec. Cheers, Cassie ___

Hi Cassie, DOSS has a bug in QDEC so please do not use it. I thought we disabled it. What version are you using? If you want to compare DODS vs DOSS, then you'll have to use the command-line stream (mris_preproc, mri_surf2surf to smooth, mri_glmfit, and mri_glmfit-sim) doug On 03/28/2016 08:10

[Freesurfer] DODS vs DOSS for correlation analysis

Hi Doug, I am carrying out some correlations between cortical thickness and cognitive ability, and had a question about the use of DODS vs DOSS for my analysis with Qdec. From reading some of the forums, it seems as though DOSS should be used when there are no interactions present. I am including

DODS: Different offset, different slope; This models (potentially) differing slopes against the covar and allows you to check for a group- by-covar interaction DOSS: Different offset, same slope; This assumes that both groups have the exact same slope against the covar (but differing intercepts).

Hello all, I'm attempting to run a cortical thickness group differences test in qdec with a covariate, and have been told that in order for it to match up with similar anlyses in SPSS, amongst other things, I'll have to ensure that I match on "DODS" vs. "DOSS." What are these two options, and
