Dear life savers, headache relievers and brain science dreamers,
PROLOG:
I'm trying to separate out some regions from a .nii.gz file. I start with
a surface parcellation in .annot (Freesurfer land) that I convert to
EXAMPLE.nii.gz using mri_aparc2aseg.
THE GOAL: To get a .nii.gz file for each o
Hi all,
I have a simple problem that hopefully has a simple solution. I'm going
through an annotation file, trying to find the names of select labels. In the
tksurfer window at the bottom right it displays the name of the label file that
the curser window is hovering over, BUT it only display
ations that

Hi all,
We have a series of labels (over 100) that encompass the majority of the
cortex, but some minute vertices remained unlabeled. We've tried several
attempts to make this .annot file and as well as attempts to label the
unlabeled vertices (from a previous post 'labeling unlabeled vertices
Hey All,
I currently have a cortical parcellation with some unlabeled vertices in it.
I'm wondering if anybody knows how to assign a series of unlabeled vertices to
a single .label file. These vertices are copious and minute, trying to avoid
several hundred 'click, save label as..' repetition

Hi all.
(apologies to those on both free surfer & caret list serves)
I've having issues trying to convert some regions that are in .label.gii
format. I'm trying to take them from Caret 164k mesh space into fsaverage
space to be viewed on Free Surfer. I've successfully brought similar data
