[Freesurfer] surface to volume

Hi freesurfers, Is it possible to transform the statistical results of a surface analysis into an anatomical volumen? I've been reading about tkregister2 and mri_surf2vol, but I'm not confident. Any help would be appreciated Fernando Valle-Inclan ___
