You need to use the sudo command to modify something under /Applications, so
you could do$ sudo cp ~/Downloads/license.txt /Applications/freesurfer
You could also just set FS_LICENSE to point to license.txt% setenv
FS_LICENSE ~/Downloads/license.txt

Thank you!
When I try to copy the license.txt file I receive this:
% cp ~/Downloads/license.txt /Applications/freesurfer
cp: /Applications/freesurfer/license.txt: Permission denied
How can this be resolved?

Hi all,
I am receiving this error when trying to run sclimbic module. It's not being
very descriptive about what the error is so I was wondering if you all can help
debug. My SUBJECTS_DIR is correct
mri_sclimbic_seg --s GP0050
/usr/local/freesurfer/

set dcmroot = /home/afrancis/Imaging
set dcmlist = (109123/109123_7T_DWI_dir72_AP_SBRef.nii.gz)
OR
set dcmlist =
