do you actually mean the average of the (xyz) surface locations or do you
mean the average/difference of scalar fields over the surface?

Dear Freesurfer team,
Is it possible to add/subtract/compute the average of freesurfer surface .mgh
files? And how would I do this?
Thank you in advance.
Kind regards,
Rose

Dear Freesurfer team,
I have two more questions about mri_glmfit-sim.
1. In the summary file I get a list of all the inputs/outputs, but I don't
understand what all of them mean. Could you explain the ones I highlighted in
bold?
2. Is it possible to a priori set the area threshold, so that I o

?Hi list,
I am trying to run mri_glmfit on a group of subjects using the --frame-mask

Hi Bruce,
Thank you for your answer!
I have tried: mris_convert -c lh.thickness.fwhm10.fsaverage.mgh
lh.sphere.reg test.asc
but get this: ERROR: number of vertices in
lh.thickness.fwhm10.fsaverage.mgh does not match surface (163842,141823)
Why might that be?
Thank you in advance!

Hi All,
I was hoping someone can help me with two naive questions I have:
I have read on the Freesufer wiki that you should smooth surface data
before analyzing. Should I smooth the data only after I have ran recon-all
and have made edits? Also, should volumetric data be smoothed or is this
limit
Somehow, my last email didn't appear on the Freesurfer forum. I'm resending
it without the attachments.
Dear Bruce,
I'm not interested in the chiasm, but the medialorbitofrontal cortex would
be interesting. In most of the subjects pial and white surfaces intrude

Gyrus and Sulcus I imagine, but I'll cc Christophe so he can chime in

I am currently using free surfer to analyse my brain imaging and i was
