How do I get edits made on aseg.mgz to reflect onto the aparc+aseg.mgz?
I have tried the recon-all -autorecon2-noaseg -subjid mysubject
but the aparc+aseg.mgz is not created.
Afterward I ran recon-all -autorecon3 -subjid mysubject
this erased my edits to aseg and gave me the

Open a terminal
change directory to where you have saved you T1 image
type setenv SUBJECTS_DIR ${PWD}
then start you processing as follows:
Step One:
recon-all -i (name of T1 image with its extension) -s (name of the subject)
example
recon-all -i MPRAGE.img -s Ali
Step two:
recon-a
