Hi Af. it's hard to diagnose from just the images, but it looks like the intensity normalization is eroding the gray/white boundary. I don't think the brightness is an issue per se, as that's just a display artifact. If you send us the orig.mgz and the 00?.mgz volumes we'll take a look. chee

Dear Sirs and Madams, we are planning a study measuring cortical thickness in children. Due to better contrast bettween white matter and cortex in infants we generally use T2 images in 3 planes. Is it possible to measure the cortical thickness slice by slice without the availabilit yof 3D data
