If you've made a label from a group surface, then you should use
mri_label2label with the --regmethod surface option to map to the
individuals.
As for isxavg-re-sess, there is a problem with it reading in
non-bfloat files. Use roisummary-sess to create a summary file, then
read the spread sheet

Using 'mri_convert', we were able to convert

You can use mri_vol2vol to convert the input volume to the output
space (ie, reslice), or you can use the --no-resample option to keep
it in it's native space and just change the qform/sform matrix (sounds
like what you want).

Hi Freesurfers,
I have created ROI masks for each subject by saving a patch from my averaged
brain using tksurfer. I am assuming that the way to average ROIs across
subjects is to use talairch space to create one patch and use that patch for
each subject with func2roi. I used the command belo

Hi Leila,
we need a lot more information than this. Can you send an image showing
us what you mean? And what do you mean "the white matter seems ok"? Do
you mean the ?h.white surface looks correct?

Dear FS experts, Dear Doug
We are still trying to do an average of 92 subjects, but failed due to the
known problem with make_average_subject. Is there any work around for that
problem or is it possible to do several averages (e.g., 3 times with 30
subjects) and average these three averages again?
Hmmm, that's a new one. If you send us the files:
mri/transforms/talairach.lta
mri/nu_noneck.mgz
mri/transforms/talairach_with_skull.lta
for that subject, and we'll take a look.
cheers,
