Depending on that result, try
apt-get install libglut??

You will need to install the GLut (GL utility) library on your system.
It is not included with the Linux freesurfer distribution.

yes, you can manually draw them in tksurfer, save them as a label file,
then specify the label with -l to
mris_anatomical_stats.
