read in place of the thickness file with the -t switch (i.e. -t
something.asc). Note that everything except the field will be ignored

Currently, we can use mris_anatomical_stats to report
statistics such as thickness +/- std. dev. over the list
of brain regions, as created by the parcellate_subject
program.
