If you want to have FreeDOS look for NDCONFIG.SYS, you will need to edit
the FreeDOS kernel source code and recompile. It does not look for
NDCONFIG.SYS on its own.

It maybe easier to use a hex editor on kernel.sys & command.com. ;-)
