Hi! If you boot FreeDOS from D: then it will still first try to open C:fdconfig.sys and if that does not exist it will use (Windows') C:config.sys - but it will not try to use D:fdconfig.sys or D:config.sys ... However, you can keep all other FreeDOS files on D: :-). Note that "installing to D:"
