FreeDOS does not develop drivers for that kind of device as far as I can
tell. It comes with CuteMouse, which is available for serial and PS\2
pointing devices. With that in mind, the easiest way to get a touch
screen working on bare FreeDOS and by extension any DOS, would be to

Yeah I do remember some decades ago there was a touch device I cannot
for the life of me remember what it was called though it was rudimentary
touch interface for point of sale systems. I was wondering if in the years
since if there had been any drivers for DOS since :-)
