Hi,
the howtos from pre 1.2 do not seem to work for 1.2. How and what configs need
to be changed to get a fixed ip adress in freedos 1.2?
Did someone have a look into why syslinux boot does not work when installing?

KERNEL: By default, the C:\KERNEL.SYS is the booted kernel
for FreeDOS 1.2. It is 386 version and is the same as the

Is there an easy way to double the font size? When running Freedos in
VMWare on a 4k monitor, the window is so small as to be almost unusable.
None of the VMWare display settings change the resolution of the window.
Even in full screen mode, the font size doesn't change.

I have made a small video to show my issue with freedos 1.2 and syslinux.
After installing it freedos does not boot because it is looking for kernel.sys
in c:\fdos\bin\ were there is no such file. Also it seems to be only looking
for files in c:\ and kernl386.sys

Hi freedos-users!
I successfully installed the FreeDOS 1.2 RC1. I want to modify the size of the
EMS memory.
Maybe this line is the responsible for the EMS memory, but I don't know how to
set the size.
