I installed Win2k in same PC as FreeDOS and Grub, but
in separate partition and Linux. Then Win2k nuked my
FreeDOS boot with Grub. All FreeDos files still there
but if freeDOS use boot.ini so then it is modified.
I just want to know basic way to restore FreeDOS boot
with grub. If I will have to re
GRUB works fine for Linux, FreeDOS and windows from my
experence I can say this. And maybe for others too.
Add this in menu.lst:
title FreeDOS
root (hdx,y)
savedefault
makeactive
chainloader +1
And x is hdd number is only one hdd then 0
y is partition number first is 0.
I used FreeDOS for few days. And the thing I lacked
the most was some kind of program or at least textfile
about which program do what. And at all it is quite
hard to find programs in full distribution. Maybe one
big and good *.bat skript can do all this job. Like
"start.bat".
