Hi,
FreeDOS does not develop drivers for that kind of device as far as I can
tell. It comes with CuteMouse, which is available for serial and PS\2
pointing devices. With that in mind, the easiest way to get a touch
screen working on bare FreeDOS and by extension any DOS, would be to
find a co
Does it have the a BIOS option for boot sector protection as this can lock
the MBR sectors of the hard disk?

Hi Jim,
Yeah I do remember some decades ago there was a touch device I cannot
for the life of me remember what it was called though it was rudimentary
touch interface for point of sale systems. I was wondering if in the years
since if there had been any drivers for DOS since :-)

I appreciate the suggestion and I made the attempt but chkdsk c: /f
found no errors and no effect on the behavior. It continues not to be
able to boot directly to the hard drive but will if booted to the Live
CD and boot from the hard drive is selected.

I think we can assume Ed is asking about drivers for DOS. :-)
For what operating system?
While I may be incorrect, there are some drivers where the number of taps
can mimic the desired clicks.

So it would be one of the following models?

Are you using it with a serial communication port?
Does it have Ethernet port?
It's a Elcon generic touch screen.

Hi,
Does anyone know of a touch driver so where I tap on a screen the mouse
registers a left click? I have been looking to see if it's possible but
have come up empty so was wondering if it's possible.

Probably better to run from the Live CD and issue "chkdsk C: /f".
