What is the latest on Freedos 1.1? A new installer, updated packages, and the addition of fdupdate. Is significant work being done? I notice that there is a call to action on the freedos web site, so status wise what is happening? Michael C. Robinson --

If I remember right there was a floppy replacement. You put in on normal FDD port and it emulates an legacy FDD in hardware. But the medium you are writing the data to is in reality flash. Sorry, I don't know any names and links anymore but I remember it. -mr -
