Hm, do you have a swap partition defined?
If so, put this in /etc/rc.conf:
dumpdev="AUTO"

Does it print a message and then say "rebooting ..", or does it just
go blank screen and reboots?

the system works fine. So it seems like loading the module might be
causing the crash and reboot? I don't see any way to capture the console
output,
