is compliant, for all intents and purposes (it works as USB2 on Linux

I have no exact knowledge of this (i.e. don't know if it's 100%
compliant in every way) but it works, recognizing and enabling USB 2.0
devices, with expected transfer rates.
And it works fine in Linux
