I'm having problems on one of two identical servers which have dual
Broadcom BCM5704s onboard. The problem is that one of the servers is not
linking at 100baseTX-FDX on the bge0 interface no matter what I do
(forced, limited advertising on the switch, etc).

I'm running into a problem with some new dual Opteron servers we just
received yesterday on 6.1-STABLE (-RC now I suppose) amd64 updated as of
today. When booting, it sometimes fails to initialize the onboard
Broadcom gigabit Ethernet:
bge0: mem
0xfc9f-0xfc9f irq 26 at device 5.0 on pci2
This is for the archives: problem was identified as a bad
motherboard/onboard NIC and has been replaced (thanks Silicon
Mechanics!). Everything is going smoothly now!
