Don't despair, ironically Perl itself can solve this problem for you,
using
something like
find /some/directory -type f -print0 | \
xargs -0 perl -pi -e 's,^#! ?/usr(/local)?/bin/perl,#!/usr/bin/env
perl'

I've got a very unusual problem running a bind caching name server on
AMD64. I've tried FreeBSD-5.4-p1 and 5.4-STABLE and nothing has
helped. Named goes into a "crash" state once hit hits approx 120M of
memory in use, at which point it chews 100% cpu and doesn't respond
to any futher querie

e note, sound was working fine up until I cvsup'ed n built the
latest release of 4.7RC, 2 weeks ago all was well and good.
The machine is a Toshiba portege 4000 running 4.7RC as of 2 hours ago.
