Some time ago I succesfully used /usr/ports/smbfs, but now I get an error
when smbfs.ko is loaded (smbfs is now in the kernel base). It complains
that iconv_open is unresolved. Is it broken or am I doing something wrong?

The svr4 emulation modules (streams.ko and svr4.ko)
load corretly, but when an SVR4-branded binary is run,
ELF Binary type "0" not known
Abort trap
is displayed. The attached patch (to be applied in
/usr/src/sys) solves this. Maybe someone can use it.
