HI,
I went over the release notes and honestly I don't see what 12 brings new..
I remember older versions were big change each in different aspect.. So
what is 12-Rel unique aspect VS 11 let's say?
Thanks in advance,
Sami

Hi,
At the bottom of the article there is link to the source benchmark site.
From a quick glance the benchmarks made not with the same hardware for all.
Phoronix is sort of anti-bsd site.. i won't count on the truth of the data
they present.

hi,
another suggestion would be using mirrored zfsOnRoot on each host (out of
the 2 local disks) and then use zrep to sync the pools.
use with combination of carp to active/standby cluster.

You can't use pkg add since no binaries in 9.1 its mentioned in the release
notes of this version.
You can set SITEPACKAGE env variable to use stable packages.

is it simply: *make && make install && make clean*?
i guess i need to recompile the kernel also because ixgbe is on the GENERIC
kernel.
what do you advise me?
