This is a SCSI drive. I am wondering, why would SCSI be different from
IDE in that matter?

I unfortunately did a cvsupdate so I'm running on 4.4-pre. Ipf is
v3.4.16 and kernel seems to be v3.4.20 ... Of course I should be
upgrading ipf but unfortunately, cvsup for src-sbin gives a Makefile and
an empty dir in ipf directory....

ETA is around 30 mins, without: 8 mins! And I tested it more than once.
I didn't have this kind of slowdown on 3.4 ... Is there a kernel
option that can slow down ipfw diverts like that?
