i don't think so. i run isamchk/myisamchk several times...
i did dump, drop & import db back, so indexes should
be ok, but problems didn't go away. i'll try other
hardware with 4.1.
well,
try to compile kernel with commented these lines:
# ATA and ATAPI devices
#device ata0at isa? port IO_WD1 irq 14
#device ata1at isa? port IO_WD2 irq 15
which are uncommented in the GENERIC kernel file...
