ASUS P2B-DS mobo, dual p3. Promise fasttrak 66, 2 intel 10/100.
Just upgraded to 4.5-stable as of 4/17, and put in a 3ware 7850 running 7.4
When it boots, right after the 3ware probes, I get this stream of errors
(apparently unceasing):
Waiting 15 seconds for SCSI devices to settle
twe0: PCI
Trying to disklabel a 1 TB disk (with sysinstall or disklabel)
produces a lot of errors. In sysinstall, there's a kazillion
overflows and negative offsets, and stuff.
With disklabel, it tells me that the partition size needs to
be truncated, then writes the label. then if I run disklabel
aga
2 3ware 6800's, one 7800. The 7800 comes up (with a -stable
from 5/25/01 -stable snapshot) with a "Command interrupt" right before
dropping into single usermode.
I'm flashing it up with the latest firmware, but I just hope there's
no problems with mixing them.

UDP v2 mounts, Netapp Filer.
Getting a fair # of:

on the console, and it seems to lock the machine up for several minutes
when it does. Then it comes back to life, and cranks for a while...
Not sure where
They list some other 8 port cards, but none of the part numbers
match. has anybody tried any of the new ones?
