This morning I tried to install FreeBSD6.0 under VMWare 5. I got
the following message when it was extracting the base into \
directory:

I've been asked to setup a RAID-5 server using software raid. I've not
worked with gvinum or vinum for that matter. I know from following the
mailing lists there have been some concerns over gvinum in the
5.3-RELEASE. How are things working today?

You could also just enable pf and have one scrub rule.

I didn't cut and paste that. I had to copy everything by hand. It's
correct in the make.conf.
