Hi,
We don't use binary update as we use custom kernels.
We're using portaudit for security flaw with the installed ports but I don't
think there is any equivalent for the base and kernel? I'm subscribed and
I'm monitoring the FreeBSD Security Advisories mailing-list but there is (as

Hello,
Have a look at: http://www.countersiege.com/doc/pfsync-carp/ and man
carp(4).
Use pfsync for state synchronization.
Try ifstated to run script when host status change (master/backup).
You should redirect your question to freebsd-pf.

Hello list,
Does someone knows which driver is used for the Soekris lan1641 quad
ethernet card?
Ethernet chipset is National Semicondutor DP83816 but I can't find any
reference to
it in the hardware notes for 5.4. I need to know if ALTQ is available for
this card.
Thanks in advance!

Hello list,
I'm using cvsup to update my FreeBSD boxes trough a local cvsup mirror that
I cvsup only when only when I want/need because I want to avoid boxes
running different versions of FreeBSD/ports.
What I would like to do is to update the base and the ports at differents
time intervals. Wor
Fyi,
The tool is working fine but doesn't show up rebuild state (just removed a
drive and card bios is showing up rebuild on hotspare).
I think it's coming from the driver as it doesn't say that logical device is
in rebuild state.
