the large ports update seems to have broken a lot of things which use
php-72 (yes, it serves them right:), e.g. wordpress 5, nfsen, ...
randy, waiting patiently for someone to clean this one up

Hi,
Just to follow up, i've upgraded (freebsd-update) one of my apu2c4 today
- firmware upgrade to v4.8.0.7 (so switched from legacy to mainline)
- FreeBSD upgrade from 11.2 to 12.0
smooth sailing so far.
Ill try updating an apu1 ( running 11.2 ) with its current (mainline)
firmware to 12.0 o

About a week ago, we had a kernel panic on Freebsd 11.2-RELEASE-p7 with
GENERIC kernel, ZFS root. As the kernel was not compiled with debug support
enabled, the resulting "vmcore" files were of little use. Consequently, I
recompiled kernel with debug support:
