I run FreeBSD 8.2, ipsec-tools-0.8.0_2 and mpd-5.5.
To get NATed VPN clients working through L2TP/IPSec I use the patches
given in kern/146190 for the files esp_var.h, ipsec.c, ipsec_input.c
(only the "Ignore checksum" part) and xform_esp.c. Further the following

I am having trouble with MPS becoming unresponsive in certain disk failure
conditions. So far, I've experienced this with 3TB Hitachi disks (0S03208) and
3TB Seagate Barracuda disks (ST3000DM001, firmware CC9D) while using the MPS

Yep, this is quite old - 7.2-STABLE i386.
I got this panic after starting doing some Xorg activity,
otherwise system was idle for some hours.
I wonder if this is know/fixed in later versions.
If that's true then please just ignore this mail.

I have a build process (which worked at release 7.3) that makes a
bootable ISO using a ramdisk image as the boot volume. At release 8
it panics right after reporting the real memory size with:
kernel trap 12 with interrupts disabled
Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode
