Hello all,
maybe my question is somewhat off-topic, but anyway...
I have a very old (10 years old!) ISA Ethernet NIC,
made by Tulip Computers using National Sonic DP83916
(SONIC-16) chipset. My colleague was going to drop it
away as some kind of crap, but I'd like to put it into
use. The only pr
Ah, yes.

Thanks for the explanation/reminder Brooks.

Hi, all--
Assuming a RELENG-4.6 system with the following kernel options:
options VESA
options SC_PIXEL_MODE
...how can you best optimize the syscons display for a LCD with a native
resolution of 1280x1024? Here's an excerpt of 'vidcontrol -i':
fb0:
vga0, type:VESA VGA (5), flags:0x700ff

Just made/installed world after a cvsup yesterday.
Is it normal for uname to not report the tertiary version number in the
STABLE branch? It's been so long since we had a three digit release
revision I can't recall.
In the event it is normal, is there a way to determine the .2
maintenance level
Yeah, after all it's pretty simple. The "Restart" thing in sysinstall
is a gross hack and doesn't really work.
You should have mentionned the restart issue in the beginning though,
it would have clarified a lot of things. :)
Maybe you could open a pr about this?

I get the following error when trying to compile gnome2, specifically
gconf-editor:
In file included from gconf-bookmarks.c:25:
/usr/X11R6/include/gtk-2.0/gtk/gtkimage.h:85: syntax error before
`GdkPixbufAnimationIter'
Anyone know what's I need to update on my system?

This is approved for RELENG_4_6. Can you send us an errata entry?
