If you're talking about /boot/loader, probably not. If you're talking
about boot0, probably so.

well, I'm sure I did this backwards but I went into usr.bin and
usr.sbin and did make in those dirs. in usr.bin, calendar failed,
so I had to wrap
I'd like to play with 5.0-current on a 4.5-stable box.
is it safe to use the 5 boot loader with 4.5 kernels?
the shift of the kernel & modules to /boot has me worried
that the MBR and other low(ish) level logic might not work well.
(I'm guessing that without new bootblocks, I can't play, altho
Ok, so now I've built $latest of Galeon, Mozilla and the native FreeBSD JDK.
Of course, I've set the appropriate symlink in /usr/X11R6/lib/mozilla/plugins/.
Java is working now in Mozilla, but *not* in Galeon. Anybody knows how to get
it running in Galeon?

well, I reran cvsup with the standard supfile (only change I made
was the required one).
I'm no further along: does any of this output help?
cd /usr/src; MAKEOBJDIRPREFIX=/usr/obj MACHINE_ARCH=i386
MACHINE=i386
COMPILER_PATH=/usr/obj/usr/src/i386/usr/libexec:/usr/obj/usr/src/i386/usr/bin
I had the dvd drive plugged into the ata channel 2, which is for
DMA100 on the mian board ( Asus A7V ). This wasn't detecting the drive
properly. I just plugged into ata channel 1, and it works perfectly.
