Welcome. =)
You'll probably want to read sysctl(8) and sysctl.conf(5) to get
familiar with how BSDs sysctl interfaces work. You'll be particular
interested in the hw.at
I'm having now, and have had ever since I think 4.3-R, a problem with my
Archive Tape drive and 2940 controller. I hate to bother anybody, but
I'm seeing things that I don't understand, not to mention it no longer
works. Rather than clutter the list with needless traffic, if somebody

Hello to all,
I'd like to know if the 4.5-PRERELEASE has been announced in any freebsd
mailings, because I don't received nothing saying that the code will be
freezed.
Thanks very much,

Hello,
something's broken with the isp-device (ISDN syncPPP network device).
The last working kernel was of dec 8, 2001. I found the problem after
my next update at dec 15, 2001. Until today, the 'isdnd' worked with
the old kernel of dec 8, but now the new userland doesn't fit anymore.
THANK

There are a couple of things I'm concerned about now that we're frozen:
1. Matt Dillon's numerous NFS fixes (I think Kirk's softupdates fixes
have already been MFC'd).
2. Whatever's needed to fix the fact that the kern.flp image is still
overflowing.
