where somehost is the one that's online and responds pings
I see single dot (sometimes even no dots) and it seems to be reasonable.
But now I start another ping, f.e.
ping somehost2
Then I see '+1 dot' for every single line, written
SUBDIR_CHANGE provides
1) A top level switch which enables/disables the subdir{add|drop} extensions
2) Specifies a directory to define the context for this particular build
variant.
