I'm trying to install FreeBSD as part of a dual boot config on a hard
disk which already contains Windows XP. I have created a partition for
FreeBSD. My problem comes once I "commit" to the installation of
FreeBSD. I get the following message, after which installation aborts:

I have just installed free bsd and trying to access my dvdrom drive. I
issued the command: "mount /dev/acd0 /cdrom" but I got a message
stating "incorrect super block." What is the correct method for
accessing the files on my dvd rom.

I'm trying to install ndiswrapper from a .tar.gz file. I'm running make
for the first time, so I am unfamiliar with it. But I have read
instructions for installing ndiswrapper. I keep getting errors, but I'm
not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Here's what I did. I copied the ndiswrapper-1.47.tar.gz
I need whatever help I can get to use ndis to converter wireless nic
card so I can use it on my laptop. it seems that I don't have iconv
working properly. I go into the ndisgen program by typing the command:
# ndisgen
The program opens and gives a list of options. I choose option 3:
Convert dr
t; is
in the /usr/local/lib/ directory.
At this point I am totally lost. What else can I do to get iconv and
ndis running?
