Hi, I have just installed FreeBSD release 8.2 using FreeBSD-8.2-RELEASE-i386-disc1.iso and want to install sudo. I did the following: # whereis sudo # cd /usr/ports/security/sudo # make install clean but get error messages: .. Could not find /usr/ports/Mk/bsd.port.mk What can I do to solve

Can't fetch portsnap because of network problem

Hi, I'm trying to fetch portsnap but can't because probably of network problem. Whenever I try to run command # portsnap fetch extract the process stall and never reach 20%. It is sad. :( The computer on wich I try to run this command is on my home LAN that has a gateway/router. What can I do
