her go and add the user UUCP.. or I could try figure out why
make is ignoring this:
foo# grep UUCP /etc/make.conf
NOUUCP=true# do not build uucp related programs
Any ideas on where to start?

I have no use for anything to do with uucp. Why should the user remain on
the system if they're not going to be doing anything?

I dont need speed, but I'm after reliability and control (monitoring tools
would be great too).
What are the current favourites out there?
