fine with FreeBSD. I've run
it on everything from ancient computers to newer (but not newest - because I
don't have one) equipment and it works just fine. Of course, the ancient

Wow, this example is getting old! 66Mhz CPU, 16 MB memory? I think I had a
computer like this around 15 years ago. I cringe at the thought that anyone

Oh, I know these CDs are good media because I've used them to install
freeBSD 3 times already. Also, I have a commercial BSD CD from 4.5
and one from 5.0pre and neither of them

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think it's the CD drive - I think it's
related to the bios. Also, I can't get to the FTP part. It never
even gets that far.

o its original case to make sure it
all worked ok. I'm a bit frustrated, but what can you do? It would
be impossible for the freeBSD team to cater to all the corner cases.

Of course, it's much worse for me to read, "Oh, I figured it out" and

I'm trying installing graphics/libGL to see if this fixes the
problem. I'll report back if it does or doesn't.

is there some package/port I need to install? Or do I just recompile python

Thanks,
